Markets as Art

 
In January 2009, Michael Najjar ascended and took photographs of Mount Aconcagua in Argentina.  On that trek he was struck by how much the silhouette of the mountain resembled a stock index chart. For a series he called High Altitude, some of which may be viewed here and here, he used Photoshop digitally to alter the mountain’s outlines to reflect market movements over time.
