Win a Kindle (or 2, or 3 or 4)

I am thrilled at the level of attention this blog has gotten. It already has a readership that extends to more than 50 countries worldwide and has been linked by many of the best sites in the investment world.

Thank you all for reading.

Now I would like to increase the commenting activity. Since we know — it’s Econ 101 — that people like free and that people respond to incentives, I will encourage commenting by offering a free Kindle to the best comment made over the course of a week for each of four one-week periods in May. These periods are May 2-9, May 9-16, May 16-23 and May 23-30, from 3pm PT through and until 3pm PT. Four Kindles will be awarded in all.

Anyone is eligible to win these prizes. You may stay anonymous online, but I will need a valid way to send you your Kindle if you win. The winner will be selected on the basis of my (highly subjective) judgment alone. Key factors are likely to be good analysis, entertainment value, utility and overall insight. Since I try to be a contrarian, a post that changes my thinking is likely to be very attractive to me, even if I don’t ultimately agree. If you think I have missed something or if you have questions, please address them in the Comments section below.

Let’s have some fun!
